Can we run a conference or corporate event at Fortress?
Yes. Fortress runs conferences, corporate functions and team events, with audio-visual and in-house technical services on site. The Arena has full AV facilities, and Fortress Melbourne also has a fully equipped Broadcast Studio.
What function spaces does Fortress have?
Both venues have the Esports Arena, with massive screens and premium sound, the themed Tavern restaurant and bar, and a PC LAN Gaming Lounge with 54 PCs in Melbourne and 56 in Sydney. Sydney also has the 2315 cocktail bar for up to 70 guests, and Melbourne has the Arcade for up to 80 guests and a Broadcast Studio.
Is food and drink included?
Yes. Fortress offers all inclusive food and beverage packages. Choose from the Tavern menu, book an immersive Heroes' Feast in Melbourne, or pick a tailored package with canapés or plated dining. Dietary requirements are catered for as a matter of course.
What entertainment can we add to a function?
Options include live DJs, interactive trivia, retro game tournaments, arcade classics, console booths, racing rigs and life-sized Jenga, plus PC gaming. The Events team can also build a team building tournament, a banquet dinner or a full celebration around your group.
What types of functions can we hold at Fortress?
Fortress runs corporate functions, conferences, adult parties, kids parties, bucks and hens parties, Christmas and end of year celebrations, team building days, product launches and social get-togethers. Keep your party casual, or let an Event Manager organise a team building tournament, a banquet dinner or a full celebration around your group.
Can we hire a function space exclusively?
Yes. The Tavern can be taken semi-exclusively for 120 guests in Melbourne or 70 in Sydney, or as the full restaurant for 400 in Melbourne and 380 seated and standing in Sydney. The Arena can be hired on its own, and in Sydney the 2315 cocktail bar can be booked privately for up to 70 guests.
