Tavern Trivia is a weekly event run every Monday night. Starting at 6:30pm, Trivia is expected to run until 9pm. Grab whatever table you'd like, our Trivia is on a walk-in basis and we've got plenty of tables available.Featuring high energy hosts with round after round of gaming and pop culture themed questions prepared every week. Don't forget to check out our daily deals to really score big!In teams of 2 to 8, score points for each correct answer, with the highest (and lowest 😉) scoring teams winning prizes!

What time does Trivia start?

Round 1 begins at 7pm. We recommend arriving between 6pm - 6:30pm so you can grab a table and get comfortable.

Can kids play Tavern Trivia?

Our Trivia is suitable for all ages! However, it does run past 8pm so for this reason we recommend Tavern Trivia for 18+ only. Please check out our full Minors Policy for more information: https://fortress.games/minors

How do the rounds of Tavern Trivia work?

There are 3 rounds of trivia with breaks between each round. Rounds 1-2 have 10 multimedia questions involving video and sound. Round 3 is 20 rapidfire questions.

Do I have to book for Tavern Trivia?

No you don't! The tables will be available on a walk-in basis. Just come in a grab a table! Chat with our friendly staff if you need any help finding a spot.

Where is Tavern Trivia held?

Tavern Trivia runs at both venues. Fortress Melbourne is at 23 Caledonian Lane, LG Emporium, Melbourne VIC 3000. Fortress Sydney is at Level 2, Broadway, Chippendale NSW 2008. It's in the Tavern at both.

How much does Tavern Trivia cost?

Tavern Trivia is free to play. Themed trivia nights are the exception and are ticketed separately, so check the What's On page for those.

What can we win at Tavern Trivia?

First place takes a $100 bar tab and second place gets a bottle of wine. There's also a mystery prize for last place, so a bad night still pays off.

How big can our team be?

Teams are 2 to 8 people. Turn up with a pair or a full table of eight, no booking needed either way.
