We love Fortress (the Tavern and the Bladerunner-esque bar upstairs) we put together a surprise for a friend's 40th and they were so incredibly helpful. What absolute legends. Honestly. Best bar in Sydney.

What can we do at an adult party at Fortress?
Table, booth and semi-private packages include board and card games from the Fortress library, and booth and semi-private packages add console gaming. The PC Squad package gives your group 4 hours of PC LAN gaming with a curated list of games. In Melbourne you can book The Heroes' Feast medieval banquet, and in Sydney you can hire the 2315 sci-fi cocktail bar, with an interactive LED pool table, retro arcades and booth seating.
What is The Heroes' Feast?
The Heroes' Feast is a medieval style 3 course shared banquet in the Tavern at Fortress Melbourne for groups of 6 to 20. It runs for 3 hours from $68 per person and includes a medieval table setup, a dedicated server and board game hire. You can add a mead pint for $12 or a Hero cocktail and potion for $22 per person.
Is Fortress a good place for a 21st, 30th or 40th birthday?
Yes. Fortress hosts birthday parties of all sizes in Melbourne and Sydney, from a table or console booth for 4 friends to a semi-private Tavern space for 30 or more. Packages include games, a drink and catering options, and you can book online.
Can I book a bucks or hens party at Fortress?
Yes. Bucks and hens groups are welcome in both Melbourne and Sydney. Popular options are the Console Quest booth package, the Board Games & Bites table package, The Heroes' Feast banquet in Melbourne, and private hire of the 2315 sci-fi cocktail bar in Sydney.
Is food and drink included?
Every package includes a standard drink or a food and drink credit, and you can add catering platters and cocktail options when you book. Semi-private packages include substantial catering and drinks, and The Heroes' Feast is a 3 course shared banquet.
Can I bring a birthday cake?
Yes. After you pick your date and guest numbers online, choose a cake option. Bring your own cake for a $15 cakeage fee and Fortress will store it, cut it into portions and supply plates, napkins and cutlery, or add an ice cream cake for $25.
Can under 18s come to an adult party?
Fortress is all ages during the day, but anyone under 18 needs a responsible adult with them and must leave by 8pm. After 8pm Fortress becomes an adult, alcohol-led venue, so bring valid ID if you plan to drink or stay late.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
No. There is no deposit. You pay for your package when you book.
Can I change my guest numbers after booking?
Yes. Email hi@fortress.games with your booking name, date and new guest numbers.
