This initiative aims to support groups or organisers who build community-focused events. It is not for groups that are commercial or have major sponsorship behind them.

  • Are you a community of 50 or more registered members/regulars?

  • Are you a non profit or investing your profits back in to your community?

  • Are you a charity?

If your community qualifies, you might be eligible for benefits such as; reduced or waived venue hire, support from Fortress in the successful execution of your event, and a new home!

GUIDELINES

Please read through the following guidelines related to the grassroots initiative and then submit your application at the link below. We look forward to welcoming your community to Fortress - the home of games!

All events and/or series/seasons of events are on a case-by-case basis and will be judged according to the below criteria. Fortress reserves the right to deny any application to this initiative, regardless of qualification based on the below criteria. Equally though, not meeting one (or multiple) of these criteria does not necessarily mean instant denial!
