Can you run team building for a small team?
Yes. Groups start at 10 guests. Tavern tables, console booths and the Legion Lounge all work for smaller teams without hiring a whole floor.
What function spaces can I book?
The Arena, The Tavern with its private area in Sydney and semi-private area in Melbourne, the Arcade in Melbourne, the Legion Lounge with 54 PCs in Melbourne and 56 in Sydney plus 2 streamer pods at each, the Broadcast Studio in Melbourne, and the 2315 Bar in Sydney for up to 70 guests.
Does Fortress provide AV and technical support?
Yes. You can put your content on the Arena's 10 metre LED screen with broadcast-quality visuals, high-speed WiFi keeps everyone connected in the venue or remotely, and a dedicated in-house AV team handles all system operations.
Can remote team members join in?
Yes. Fortress has production teams in both Melbourne and Sydney for livestreamed and hybrid sessions, and Fortress Melbourne has a full Broadcast Studio, so a team split across cities or working from home can take part.
Is food and drink available for corporate events?
Yes. Fortress has themed restaurants and bars on site, with catering from canapes to bar food or plated dinners. Dietary requirements are handled as a matter of course, so tell us what your team needs when you enquire.
Can we combine team building with a conference or an end of year party?
Yes. Team building is often added either side of a conference day, and end of year packages include team building and tournament upgrades.
How far in advance should we book team building?
Book as far ahead as you like. If something comes up at short notice, get in touch anyway - as long as the space is free we will do everything we can to make it work.
Is Fortress accessible?
Yes, both venues are accessible. Let us know when you enquire if anyone in your team has specific access needs.
How do we pay for a team building event?
Team building bookings are invoiced. Smaller bookings can be paid by credit card.
