What types of corporate events can I run at Fortress?
The Arena suits conferences, product launches, brand activations, awards nights, live panels and ceremonies. Spaces can be set theatre-style with retractable grandstand seating, or as cocktail, cabaret or banquet layouts for brainstorms, training days, team building and Christmas or end of year parties.
What team building activities are on offer?
Interactive options include live DJs, arcade classics, interactive trivia, retro game tournaments, console booths, racing rigs, life-sized Jenga and the Carnival of Games. Legion Lounge PC gaming, consoles, arcades and Tavern activities can all be built into your event.
Is AV and technical support included?
Yes. The Arena has a 10 metre LED screen with broadcast-quality visuals, so your presentation, video or branding plays at full scale. There is high-speed WiFi for in-room and remote guests, and a dedicated in-house AV team that handles all system operations on the day.
Can you run hybrid or livestreamed corporate events?
Yes. Fortress has production teams in both Melbourne and Sydney who handle livestreaming and hybrid events, and Fortress Melbourne also has a fully equipped Broadcast Studio.
Can you cater for corporate functions?
Yes. Fortress has a themed restaurant and bars for canapes or plated dining, and food and drink can be built into your event. Dietary requirements are handled as a matter of course, so tell us what your group needs when you enquire.
Can we hire Fortress exclusively for our event?
Yes. A full venue buy-out takes up to 1,000 guests across both floors. You can also hire a single space exclusively or semi-exclusively, including the private Tavern area in Sydney and the semi-private Tavern area in Melbourne.
How far in advance should we book a corporate event?
Book as far ahead as you like. If you have a last-minute event, get in touch anyway - as long as the space is available we will do everything we can to make it work.
How do we pay for a corporate event?
Yes, both venues are accessible. Let us know when you enquire if anyone in your group has specific access needs.
What do customers say about bucks and hens parties at Fortress?
Corporate bookings are invoiced. Smaller bookings can be paid by credit card.
