What AV is included?
Every conference package includes the Arena's 10 metre LED screen, a lectern and microphone, high-speed WiFi, and a dedicated in-house AV team who run the systems and provide technical support for the whole event. Your slides, video and branding play on the big screen and the team runs it on the day.
Can we livestream or run a hybrid conference?
Yes. Fortress has production teams in both Melbourne and Sydney for livestreaming and hybrid sessions, Fortress Melbourne has a full Broadcast Studio, and high-speed WiFi keeps remote delegates connected.
What room layouts can we have?
The Arena can be set theatre style with retractable grandstand seating, or as a cabaret, banquet or cocktail layout, and it can be changed through the day for sessions, lunch and an evening event.
Is catering included?
Yes. Conference packages include a lunch feast with tea and coffee plus morning and afternoon tea. Cocktail packages include canapes and a beverage package, and the Epicurean Banquet is a 3 course shared feasting menu. Dietary requirements are handled as a matter of course.
Do you have breakout spaces?
Yes. The Tavern has a private area in Sydney and a semi-private area in Melbourne, Sydney also has the 2315 cocktail bar for up to 70 guests, and Melbourne has the Arcade for up to 80, so sessions can split out and come back together.
Can we add team building or gaming to a conference?
Yes. Upgrades include team building activities, PC gaming tournaments in the Legion Lounge with 54 PCs in Melbourne and 56 in Sydney, retro PC competitions, an instant camera print station, and in Sydney the 2315 cocktail bar as a networking space.
How far in advance should we book a conference?
Book as far ahead as you like. If your dates are close, get in touch anyway - as long as the Arena is free we will do everything we can to make it work.
Is Fortress accessible?
Yes, both venues are accessible. Let us know when you enquire if any of your delegates have specific access needs.
How do we pay for a conference?
Conference bookings are invoiced. Smaller bookings can be paid by credit card.
