Just had my son’s 9th birthday here, such an awesome venue for a party, the arcades were great! The food was great with generous servings of pizzas, nuggets, chips and soft drinks.
Had my sons 12th birthday here and it was a joy! Staff were attentive, the party planner was patient and instructive. Everything was on schedule and smooth, kids had a blast

Questions about Kids Parties at Fortress
Can we bring our own cake?
No, but you can purchase our Freddo Frog Ice-Cream Cakes for $25.00 p/cake (feeds 10-12 kids) Or BYO cake for a $15.00 cakeage fee p/cake.
How does the console gaming & booth hire work?
For kids parties, 1 x console booth is reserved per 5 kids, located side by side where possible. Each booth has 4 gaming controllers that the kids rotate the use of.
What is the setup of the PC's?
Your PC's will all be located side by side and opposite each other, often grouped in banks of 10. For parties greater than 10 kids, all efforts are made to select PC's very close by to keep the kids all together as best as possible.
Where can I park when visiting Fortress?
Fortress Sydney: For parking near Fortress Sydney, we recommend parking at Wilson Parking Market City on weekends. The rates are as follows: Booking rate: $14.00 Hourly rate: From $9.00 Fortress Melbourne: For parking near Fortress Melbourne, we recommend two options: The Strand: Located at 323 Lonsdale Street, across from Melbourne Central and next to Emporium. Weekend flat rate: $21.00 St Francis Car Park: Located at 312 Lonsdale Street. Weekend flat rate: $15.00 Additionally, Melbourne Central Station is a 5-minute walk, and tram stops are just a few minutes away on both Elizabeth Street and Swanston Street.
Can I combine both PC and console activities?
Yes, however you’ll need to submit a sales enquiry via the form on our website so our friendly team can customise your quote.
How do I change the total number of guests?
For revisions and additions to your group size, you can select “Manage your booking” using the link in your confirmation email to add additional guests. If your total number of guests would exceed our maximum of 15, please get in touch with us.
Do the kids play together?
Yes, we offer a range of games where your guests will be able to play together on the same server and in the same space. For our VIP booths, we can accommodate 4 players at once in a game, or in some instances your party will be split across multiple booths (this may require a custom quote from our team).
What are the dessert options for kids' parties?
We offer a variety of dessert options for kids' parties: Freddo Frog Ice-Cream Cake: $25 BYO Cakeage (Crockery & cutlery provided, self-served): $15 Fairy Bread: $3.50 per person Mini Donuts: $5.00 per person
I need invites for my party. Do you provide these?
Yes! After you book, you'll receive a follow-up email with our customisable themed party invitations.
How long does the party last?
Most parties last 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the package. If you are booking for over 20 you can also extend the time for an additional fee of $10pp/ph - use the enquire now button.
Do you cater to special dietary requirements?
Yes, we can accommodate most dietary needs such as gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, dairy free, and nut free. Let us know on arrival so we can pass it onto our Kitchen team. For any requests beyond this, please get in touch with us in advance and we'll check if we can accommodate your guests' needs.
Do parents need to stay for the party?
Yes, parents or guardians are required to stay in the venue for the duration of the party, in line with our minors policy. We provide seating for parents to relax and enjoy some food and drinks.
How do I add an additional hour of play to my party booking?
Select this at the “Add-ons” stage of the online booking process. If you’d like to add an hour of gameplay but have already completed your booking, please get in touch with us.
