What can I expect at Board Game Social?
Tables set up with games ready to play or join. Groups and games shift through the night, and the host is around to help you find a table and teach the rules.
Do I need a group to play?
Not at all. Board Game Social is open to solo players and groups. Come with mates or come on your own and the host will get you into a game.
Do I need to know how to play?
No. The host teaches the rules as you go, and there's always something easy to start with. Beginners are welcome every week.
What kind of games are there?
A library of games brought in by Fortress, from quick party games to bigger strategy titles. Tell the host what you like and they'll point you to the right box.
Can I bring my own board games?
Absolutely. Bring a favourite from home and get a group going. It's a great way to find people who love the same games you do.
Can I just walk in, or do I need a ticket?
Grab a free ticket so we know you're coming, but you can always just walk in. The pub is open for food and drinks as normal.
How much does it cost?

Can under 18s come along?
Sessions run inside the pub, so the venue's own rules for minors apply. Check with the pub before bringing anyone under 18.
